Cockroaches are insects of the order

up to 50 eggs on average that develop so quickly, their population

Brown-banded Cockroaches (Supella longipalpa)
Brown banded cockroaches get their name from the two light bands they have across their dark brownish bodies. Brown-banded cockroaches carry about 16 eggs per ootheca. The female cockroach will keep the ootheca with her for about a day or two and then adhere the egg case to a piece of furniture, wall, cardboard or another rough surface.
